Learning a weapon can help in several ways including:

· more focus

· balance

· power & strength

· better coordination

Each Short Form will be a form in itself and can be performed in Tournaments.

We will be teaching a weapons clinic approximately 3 times a year, in which a short version of the weapon form will be taught. Taking all the sessions of a weapons form will allow the student to learn the entire long form.

With this format, the long forms will be broken down into shorter forms that are easier to both remember and practice. This will allow for students that would normally not be able to take the clinic to be able to participate
